Mockup for 3.0 proposal
Disclaimer: what follows is not what will be OpenOffice.org 3.0 logo, but just a proposal.Some times ago, Andreas Sohns, 19 years student in Bonn proposed a mockup for the future version of OpenOffice.org.
I found the mockup so promising and professionnal, that I decided to ask Andreas Sohns the authorization to show his work on my blog.
Of course, brushed metal is maybe not the theme Apple will use for the coming Mac OS X10.5 , aka "Leopard", but that's already more Mac'ish.
Other interesting piece is the Splashscreen
The only bad thing I found, is we cannot use splashscreen with rounded corners, because we use .bmp (square images only ) , but maybe it's time to change for another image format ..
